Horse riding along a beach holds attraction for many and is a favourite activity offered at various holiday resorts. The freedom experienced by an equestrian, riding down Struisbaai’s 14 km of white sandy beach, is captured in honour of those who love the noble horse, my late sister included.  Solitude, even in the presence of another rider, and serenity is evident in this relief sculpture.
