Product Description
Winding its way through sheer cliffs the Meiringspoort pass measures 25 km and crosses the Groot River 25 times. Hidden in the mountain folds of this arid, semi-desert region lurks an unexpected waterfall, creating a refreshing oasis for the weary traveler. Folklore had it that this waterfall was bottomless, until proven otherwise. Its crystal clear waters, which offset the rustic colours of the magnificent rock formation of this pass where vegetation thrives in crevices, invite you to bathe in its cool embrace. This relief sculpture represents a memory from a trip undertaken some years ago.
