Royalty has preserved art through the ages and has similarly been preserved through art.  Inspiration for creation of “Monarchy” is the extraordinary relationship of Mr Nelson Mandela and Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II, two memorable heads of state, to my mind the most prominent leaders during my lifetime.  With Monarchy these esteemed members of differing cultures are preserved for posterity, captured here at a historic moment in celebration of the President’s statesmanship.  Show me a man that does a good job and I will show you a man better than most and worthy of the company of Kings.
